In the UK its less well known, but is getting a higher profile now becuase of the omega 3 properties, and the high rates of heart disease in the country. I must say though, compare to America, Christmas dinner can be a bit tradditional. I love the idea of cranberry meringue pie. Yum, complete with anti-oxidants as well!! Its great to drink it with some juice, and it will help with Irritable bowel syndrome. It leterally coats the stomach and protects it. On the skin its just as good. If my kids get a graze or a cut, we immediately use some aloe vera, and that bring very quick healing. Great for soothing burns.
